Welcome to the web-site for Mastercard's Card Eco-Certification Scheme, subsequently referred to as "CEC"!Admin

This is the home page for Mastercard®s Card Eco-Certification Scheme (subsequently referred to as "CEC Scheme").

Please select what you want to do from the list below in the area titled "What would you like to do?".

To participate in the CEC Scheme and to have your products certified, you need to start by registering:

  • Click on Register as a participant to the CEC Scheme
  • Enter your contact information,
  • Receive an e-mail from the CEC website with an e-mail address confirmation link,
  • Click the e-mail address confirmation link to confirm your e-mail address,
  • Your successful e-mail confirmation will be confirmed by another e-mail.
  • To increase your chances of being registered successfully to the CEC Scheme, please use your company e-mail address as the primary e-mail address. It is likely that applications using gmail or similar generic addresses will be rejected.
  • If you do not successfully confirm your e-mail address, your registration request will simply be deleted without any further communication.

Following successful confirmation of your e-mail, your registration request will be reviewed by the CEC Administration. This typically takes a few days, and may take up to two weeks.
If your registration request is accepted, you will be provided login credentials for the CEC website.

NOTE: It is planned to widen the access to information on this website in future. Until then, after registration, you will receive a document package that contains all relevant documentation like the CEC Requirements and forms to enable you to prepare and work on your claims, and request LCA support and assessments. So, you do not need login information for this website to participate in the CEC scheme and have an environmental claim certified.
